How It Started

The Guadalupe Hope Society grew out of an inspired idea: bring help to women and families facing crisis pregnancies in San Jose by providing another option for them on the Alameda. We began simply by saying the rosary and asking others to do the same.

Now, we keep a rosary pledge counter on our website to record the number of rosaries being offered for our center and the clients we serve.

It’s more evidence that they and we are not alone in caring for women and their unborn babies. Several miracles later, we have opened our doors. We serve all people regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, age or economic status.
